Methods — Healing Through Hearing In Unconscious States Liberation Through Hearing After Death After death we can hear in two ways. We telepathically know the meaning of the sacred text that is being read to us, and we hear the words very clearly. We are able to practice the teachings as we hear them. These words invoke awareness, instructing us to realize our light. The words are offered before and after death, saying that after death we have chance after chance to come alive (27 minutes). See Applications below. Jung’s study of the inner awareness of comatose patients and Mindell’s proven ability to reach the inner awareness of the comatose have shown that it’s possible to reach people often thought to be unreachable. It’s possible to help them to inner release and realization. In some cases people have been awakened from "altered states" like coma through methods that reached and worked with their inner awareness. In Jung’s last book, Memories, Dreams, and Reflections (1961), in the Chapter called Life After Death, he remarks about certain "astonishing observations" he had in cases of profound unconsciousness after acute injuries to the brain and in severe cases of brain function collapse. Though there was a total loss of consciousness it was accompanied by "perceptions of the outer world and vivid dream experiences." The functioning of awareness at times when the cerebral cortex, the seat of consciousness, is not considered functional is remarkable. Jung referred to the awareness present even in states of deep unconsciousness as "inner awareness". In Arnold Mindell’s book Coma (1989), he expresses his interest in facilitating "inner release and realization" in people suspended in altered states. He worked with comatose people, generally thought to be unreachable, as if some crucial part of their life and being was directly available. Like Dr. Jung, Dr. Mindell calls that important part of the life of someone in coma "inner awareness”. He states that an important direction for medicine is to help people in altered states connect to their own inner awareness for inner release and realization. He says that (p.5), comatose people "are wakeful human beings going through one more meaningful step in their process of individuation." MediGrace has developed an important procedure to directly reach and help people in altered states. This audio guide can be played as inner awareness medicine for the comatose. Sound medicine can be played through headphones, or through an audio player directly into the room. This sound medicine can replace the sounds and light of television, as well as providing comfort, calm and release for people in altered states of awareness. With numerous medical measures, people are kept alive who would not typically be alive and perhaps do not want to live in such suffering. More importantly, life qualities are being lost through the overuse of medical intervention, drugs and invasive medicine. In the growing hospice movement, near-death care and after-death care are becoming important new forms of care. Ancient methods of after death care are now being used again. It is documented in nursing services that care providers may recognize the presence of an "inner awareness" in someone who is comatose or in the after-death states. Hospice care providers can offer the patient new methods of support through transition. For some people, near-death experiences bring realization and evolution, but most often people are not supported in accessing those experiences. MediGrace audio programs for hospital, hospice and home are non-invasive procedures that improve the quality of healing in dying, and help people access spiritual experience which medical professionals often overlook. top of page | applications list A tax deductible donation can be made online, payable to MediGrace, a 501-C-3 charitable organization, by clicking on the donations button.
